Welcome

"Southwold Lettings was inspired by a desire to share my love of Southwold with others. I consider myself very fortunate to live and work in this idyllic location, and I am always thrilled when families return year after year to our holiday cottages to enjoy all that the Suffolk heritage coast has to offer.

Think of Southwold and images of its iconic beach huts, lighthouse and historic pier spring to mind, along with the town's splendid range of high-quality shops and renowned restaurants. This is a place where you can do as much or as little as you want: while away a peaceful afternoon simply taking in the ambience of the seafront, search for a bargain in the bustling high street, or enjoy a stroll across the Common, around the harbour, along the River Blyth or at the RSPB reserve at Minsmere.

With all this plus lots more to offer, Southwold really is the epitome of the perfect seaside holiday destination... I'm sure that after just one visit you'll be as smitten as I am!"

Suffolk

Full of character and interest, Southwold has much to offer visitors of all ages and at any time of the year. It is also an ideal holiday location for those who wish to explore the rest of Suffolk and South Norfolk, with beautiful places such as Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Framlingham and Orford just a short trip from your Southwold holiday accommodation. The world famous Norfolk Broads are just up the A12 and offer a variety of activities for a family day out. And two of East Anglia's greatest historial sites are within driving distance too - the Anglo-Saxon burial ground at Sutton Hoo near Woodbridge and Grime's Graves, near Brandon, the only neolithic flint mine open to visitors in Britain.

Of course, you can't visit this part of the Suffolk heritage coast without trying a glass or two of Adnams - beer has been brewed in Southwold for 600 years and in 2008 the Adnams brewery produced the UK's first carbon neutral beer, East Green. In Southwold and throughout the area you'll find that traditional pubs remain at the heart of their communities, and many of them offer menu choices that will delight even the most demanding of gastronomes in your holiday group.
